Katie Forbis is an artist and photographer based in St. Louis, MO. She received her BFA in photography in 2007 and has photographed portraits + weddings professionally since 2008. Her personal photography is inspired by nature and nostalgia, and explores themes of loneliness, desolation, and the beauty in the mundane . She began painting in 2020, starting with simple abstracts and working her way to more detailed subjects.
